Locally there are several trails to walk, and many more spectacular views to see. We are neighbours to the Ivo Wildlife Park; the nearby Honor Villa can arrange a walking tour of the park. Or why not arrange an afternoon on horseback at the Ivo Riding Ranch close by? It is even possible to arrange a really special visit to the Ivo Wildlife Park on horseback. So much nature to see, and so many ways to see it, in all seasons.

Winter fun
For Skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts, Beechtree House at Ivo is just 30 minutes (by 4WD car) from the Ski resort at Madarasi Hargita. At the resort you can explore with a daily or weekly ski pass, or arrange touring ski, or snowwalking tours with local guides.
Or just take a walk up to the peak, and admire the view. On a clear day the view is really special and more amazing as you can see more than 100km to the south, to the Fargaras mountains, in the main Carpathian mountain range.

A little further away but still local are a Wildlife petting farm open all year round, at Zetea Lake in the warmer months for kayaking, swimming and other water sports. Horse & cart trips to visit the waterfalls at Varsag, or visit Mini Transylvania Park in Odorheiu-Secuiesc.
